THE MEMBERSHIP ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUITION AND BY-LAWS
RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
▪ The rights and obligations of the members shall be determined in accordance with the
provisions of these bylaws.
▪ Members shall conduct themselves at all times with the objective of achieving the Association's goals.

VOTING RIGHTS
The voting rights of the members shall be as follows:
▪ Members are each entitled to one vote

ADMISSION TO MEMBERSHIP
For admission to membership, refer to the requirements below
▪ You must be a Cameroonian by nationality.
▪ You must be based in the UAE

MEMBERSHIP
▪ Membership shall consist of individuals of Cameroonian origin, based in the UAE who
possess an accredited HSE qualification and fulfil their membership obligations.
CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP
The Association reserves the right to terminate the membership of any individual if, in its
opinion, that person's behaviour contradicts the expected values of association membership.
The concerned member, however, has the right to submit a personal appeal to the Association before a final decision is reached. Membership may be terminated:
▪ When the Association receives a written notice to this effect from the concerned member. Such termination will take effect as specified in the notice. If no specific time is mentioned, termination will become effective upon approval by the Executive Committee.
▪ In the event of a member's demise or upon a member being declared medically incapacitated or incapable of managing their own affairs, as well as those of the association.
▪ If a member consistently violates the association's rules three (3) times, membership can be terminated upon a resolution passed by a duly convened Executive Committee meeting.
▪ If any member remains indebted to the Association and persistently fails or refuses to settle such indebtedness.
