General Assembly
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION BY-LAWS
SUPREME AUTHORITY
The General Assembly shall constitute the supreme authority of the Association and it shall
direct the affairs of the Association. As the supreme authority, the General Assembly shall
retain all rights and privileges not specifically assigned to the executive.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The General Assembly shall:
1. Have the exclusive prerogative to vote on matters concerning the election of the President, Secretary, Public relations, events and communications executive, Treasurer, Financial secretary and Discipline, ethics and compliance executive at the expiry of their respective terms of office. Members of the executive shall be elected full members who are highly respected and experienced and willing to work in the interest of the membership and promote the vision and values of the association.
2. Receive and act upon reports of the President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer and appointed committees.
3. Receive and act upon reports and general policy recommendations from the Executives regarding projects and activities.
