ABOUT CAM-UAE
ASSOCIATION OF CAMEROON
HSE PROFESSIONALS IN THE UAE” herein referred to as CAM-UAE HSE Group, The Association is not affiliated to any other organization. However, the association shall
seek to benchmark itself to the relevant standards of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
The Association aims to cultivate a community of HSE professionals empowered with the
necessary competence to positively influence governance in Cameroon. This endeavour will
ultimately contribute to enhancing legislation and creating employment opportunities within
the HSE profession in Cameroon.
Our Mission
Members shall consistently conduct themselves with the intention of achieving the Association's objectives, which include but are not limited to: Sharing of job opportunities Encouraging and promoting competency through training and mentorship. Establishing platforms for networking and fostering social cohesion. Offering mutual assistance to members facing challenging circumstances whenever possible.
Our Vision
The Association aims to raise a class of HSE professionals equipped with sufficient competence to influence positively governance in Cameroon. The Association aims to cultivate a community of HSE professionals empowered with the necessary competence to positively influence governance in Cameroon. This endeavour will ultimately contribute to enhancing legislation and creating employment opportunities within the HSE profession in Cameroon.

STRATEGIES
The CAM-UAE HSE group aims to achieve its objectives through the implementation of the following strategies:
▪ Organize regular meetings and/or social gatherings at least once a month.
▪ Utilize various communication channels, such as the Internet, to facilitate ongoing member interaction and information exchange.
▪ Execute projects and activities aimed at enhancing the professional status of our members.
▪ Establish connections with other professional organizations to mutually benefit our members.
▪ Establish methods and criteria for providing support to members facing challenging situations.
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
- Organize monthly meetings on HSE-related topics for knowledge sharing & professional development.
- Mentorship of newbies into the HSE profession.
- Sharing of industry’s best practices and workplace standards.
- Sharing of important HSE documents for those in need.
- Job sharing for the benefit of all.
- Meet-and-greet events for socialization and networking.
- Sharing of important information outside the HSE field that is relevant to members.
